Missed those suckers like crazy this weekend.
I’m sick again and not feeling very interesting and kinda nasaly. You probably shouldn’t get too close to your screen. Apparently I have the immune system of something permeable and osmosis-ish. What’s with that? So, I’m taking you on a tour. So get those command-click or control-clicks ready.
Have you been to (in)courage yet? I wrote a little ditty… just a little somethin’ somethin’ in this month that celebrates thankfulness. Subcribe while you’re there for giveaways each Monday, and one of the most fabulous group of writers assembled in the blogosphere. That’s the last bit about me. Promise.
Kimba has an ebook coming out today that will help you get your holiday on. Create a soft place, indeed.
Hosting a party soon? Holidays? Birthdays? My friend Shannon has the best idea site for hosting and planning parties, Creative Party Place. Do you throw fab parties? You can submit your party and be featured. This is an awesome way to get some traffic to your blog.
Jody from Have Kid, Will Travel, was a fabulous organizer and hostess for the I_Blog Conference this weekend. More about that to come. I couldn’t let her hard work pass another single day without letting bloggers know she’s fab. I_Blog ended today and plans are already in the works for I_Blog 2010. Mark your calendars – the first weekend in November.
My friend Edie made an awesome Thanksgiving banner that would be a perfect project for the kids for the holidays. It would be super easy to adapt for other holidays, too. She also published a really much-needed-for-me makeup tutorial video that just cracked me up. And yes, she really is that pretty. I got to hang with her in Cincy. If you go to Nashville in February, you’ll get to meet her.
Are you still here? Amazing. You are steadfast and loyal. Thanks for reading through to the end and not abandoning me for the aforementioned fabulous girls.
Now, off with ya’!

Thank so much for the mention, my friend!
{Sending some OJ and chicken soup your way}
Hope you’re feeling better in a jiffy. Don’t worry: I always stay with you to the end.
You might want to come my way today, too: I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate my 100th post. Can you believe it?? I still remember your telling me some keys to successful blogging, including, as you put it, “. . . mmm. . . consistency.” See, I was paying attention!
Love you!
Richella
I’m surprised your big guys still fit in that wagon. Love those cowboy boots! Hope your germs don’t spread to your fam and that you feel better pronto!
Sick again? Blah.
Hope you get better soon.
We’ve got the sick-nasties over at my house, too. They seem to camp out on our doorstep these days…
Hope you feel better, Darcy!
Hope your feeling better by now. Loved what you wrote over there. Your boys and Trouble in particular (outside of my own little ones) are my favorits kid in blogland. Troubles little grin just pulls me in every time! Aren’t you glad Someone else had him in the plan for you!
I haven’t felt well since returning from I_Blog either… I see that “Swine Flu” is now following me on Twitter, so hopefully it didn’t follow me all the way to Perry this weekend!
I read your post on (in)courage this weekend. It was so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing that with us! I missed my three guys (plus dad, I guess) too, although it didn’t take them long to start fighting with each other, making me remember how quiet that room was on Saturday night… Take care, and feel better soon!
Hope you’re feeling better, Darc. You deserve to be healthy for the rest of the season now! Great post on (in)courage…you have a way with words, my dear. Oh, and thanks for the bloggy links as well. I so need that mkeup tutorial.
hope you are feeling better..
kinda a surprised not to see any prematurity post from such an important advocate..
Not loyal as this is my first visit – and really hoping I don’t catch your bug!!
I loved the Thanksgiving banner (we don’t do thanksgiving here in the UK, but am going to adapt it for Christmas).
Hope you feel better soon.
thanks for the shout out!! I’m so glad to be your bloggy friend! =)
