I am the middle girl of 3, I ended up getting a lot of hand me downs but I did get new school clothes. I believe thats why I really remember going school shopping and matching the geranimals and making a few outfits…..and yes they had them 30 or so years ago. LOL

I was a hand me down kid. My sister was older than I was by three years. I got all her clothes, shoes, etc. I know it saved my family a lot of money!

I am the oldest, so I wasn’t a hand me down child. However, I was definitely a second hand child at times.

Got a lot of hand-me-downs, even as just the 2nd child of two. But my older sibling was a boy, which made for some interesting clothes there for a while.

Well, as the second and last child born 7 years after my brother and A GIRL, I was an all new kid. But, I’m not spoiled! Love me some thrifting. )

I’ve been looking for more great kids books for my boys and this is right up our alley. I can recite the children’s Bible we have…RECITE it. Word for word. They love it though and I love that they love it so we read it and read it and read it.

What a great book! My little guy would love it. The rhyming aspect is great for getting it stuck in their little heads.
I was a hand me down kid and garage sale kid We did get new clothes but only at the beginnning of the school year (anyone remember lay away?) or when our grandparents would take us shopping. My Grandmother made several things for my sister and I growing up!

This book looks terrific!

I was the youngest of 5 (4 girls), so had my share of hand-me-downs. However, my family moved from Bangladesh to New York when I was 3 1/2, so most of the really old stuff got left behind and we started fresh in New York – so it wasn’t all bad!
