Boy, do I miss that pony tail. And I really should have thrown on some makeup.

I am so loving the new do!!! You’ll get through the “ponytail being gone phase”! Are you keeping it short or did you cut it off for charity ? I there was a post somewhere with something about it, but can’t recall. I’d leave it, you look younger and as if you needed it, more sassy!!! You are a doll!!!

I did Locks of Love 2 years ago, so this time I thought I’d try Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths. :)

I LOVE it!!! I have cut my hair, then let it grow out more times than I can count! Right now it’s short like yours, and I’m wishing for that ponytail again … but when it’s long enough for a ponytail I’m always saying ‘maybe I should go with a short do again?’ …. hahaha … but anyway, it looks fantastic on you! =)

You’re still pretty! And “it’s just hair. It will grow.” :-) I’ve been telling myself that A LOT. My hair is about as long as yours. I’m recovering from a really, really bad haircut given by “demon.” (I blogged it.) And I didn’t even have the satisfaction of donating to charity. Humph!

In my best southern drawl….PURDY!

If my hair were straight, I’d have that hair-do!

I LOVE it Darcy! I got my hair trimmed a few days ago, but I’m still not sure I’m happy with it…. I want to grow it out long, but this just isn’t cutting it.
Who cut your hair? Because it looks seriously awesome!

Are you serious — Handy Man did that?! Let’s see… he makes book cases, takes killer pictures, and is a great hair stylist. I think I’d keep him.

I have always had long hair. So I have to use my children for my charitable inclinations :-) I can’t imagine not having all my hair. And being able to put it in a pony tail…

Looks fab, m’dear! That do is great for thick hair, which it looks like you have (?).

You look better than I do without makeup!

So cute, Darcy!!! Now I’m feeling the need to cut my hair :) Unfortunately it’s not in the shape to donate it :( BTW, I think you’re beautiful without the makeup, too ;)

You look great. I would have a heart attack. I need my length—-even if all I do is put it in a ponytail (hanging head in shame).

So proud of you.
So proud of hubby for giving you a great cut!
Gesh, he could teach Jimmie’s Demon a thing or two!

What a cute short ‘do! But oh my gosh–you look even YOUNGER with short hair!

Maybe I’m feeling old, since we took our oldest to college yesterday.

But that’s beside the point. The point is, you look great!

I think it’s great!

I had that haircut for over a year. Now I’m trying to grow it out– I imagine your hair grows faster than mine because well… just because.

The good thing about no ponytail is that you don’t have to worry about the sore head or headache by the end of the day. Either that or I just have a pansy scalp that needs to toughen up!

Sooo sporty. I really like it. I was just thinking about getting my hair cut short. I really want to. . . but hesitate because of the whole pony tail thing. . . but it will grow back. We’ll see.
Great job Handy Man!

OMG!! I LOVE it!! It’s a GREAT cut on you…You’re Gorgeous! I’ve sported the short cut for about 2 years and I’ve had a lot of fun with it!

My 7yo donated her hair, at age5, to Locks of Love…8 inches! She was so proud of herself!

You all are so nice to me. I’m feeling like hiding under a hat (or my bed) until it grows out. I so appreciate the kind words.

Handy Man did indeed cut off the pony tail. But it was my mom that did the shaping and styling. She’s a gem like that.

It’s awesome Darcy! You’re still as cute as ever. I recently trimmed mine and I don’t think I’m very happy with it. But I’m not quite willing to go ponytailless this time of year. But I’m also very fickle, so that could change in an instant. :-D

Darcy, you look so cute! I like it. It was a little jarring to see that whole ponytail cut off, but really, it looks good. So nice to have a handy hubby and mom to help you with it. :)

Listen girl, if I looked that good without makeup, I would never wear any!

Your hair is darling. (Also love the way you held up your camera to get that shot) It’s like “here is a portrait of me and my camera” He’s the short dark one on the right.

LOVE IT! Gurl, you are beautiful with or without the makeup! :-) I actually held my hair up today to my chin to see what a cute little bob would look like on me and I quickly decided to keep the long hair. :-(

As a 2 year ovarian cancer survivor, Stage IIIC – anyone who donates their hair to any of the organizations that make wigs for those in need is pretty special in my book. Your new hair rocks.

Long hair on women, rocks the world, and I deeply distrust hair charities. My wife will not be donting her sensuous, scrumptious long locks. Im very glad tht sheagreeswith me on thisone issue, anyway.

Then I’m glad, for the sake of those who are receiving wigs, that some of us feel otherwise.

Because of the generosity of many women, you can enjoy your wife’s “sensuous, scrumptious long locks” and those in need will still receive a chance to have their own sensuous, scrumptious hair. :)
