Give Away: Even I can look crafty…

in give away, house stuff

**EDIT: THIS GIVE AWAY IS NOW OVER AND COMMENTS ARE CLOSED**
When Meagan, an Independent Demonstrator from Uppercase Living, contacted me about being a Life with my 3 Boybarians sponsor (see her over there in the sidebar?), I thought – ugh oh… She has NO idea how non-crafty I am. But that’s okay, because I have been visiting a whole bunch of your blogs lately, and you all are really crafty.

Turns out, you don’t have to be crafty to make something really beautiful – and impressive looking! – with Uppercase Living. What a relief. Look at what I made, all by my lonesome:

Look what I made! Uppercase Living

The frame can swap out 4 different panels with different word art for different times of the year. I’m fancy all year round, yo! I’m no Kimba or Nester or Sandy… but I’m suddenly wanting to stick stuff up all over my house! Look at all this cool stuff, colors, fonts (oh, fonts – how I heart thee!)… I am so digging the “Tall Oaks from Little Acorns grow” quote. Seems appropriate for my little nuts boybarians.

uppercase living catalog

End impression: Easy to do, looks nice on my wall, felt pretty darn proud of myself when I was done. Urge to stick stuff to every single surface in my house still hasn’t passed though. This stuff is seriously addictive!

And now, Meagan wants you to have a chance to get YOUR craft on. You can win
any accessory of your choosing from Meagan’s Uppercase Living site – a $35 value total – or if you rather choose something else, you can pay the difference and get whatever you want! You can custom design it yourself or choose from many styles already made. Thanks, Meagan!

Ok…calm down and take a deep breath! I now want to go and paint clever and inspirational sayings all over my house! So many things I liked at her site! I would love to have the “May love be the heart of this home” from the living and family room section of her site, right on the wall as you enter our home! Oh, oh, oh… and in our hallway, which I so lovingly call our hall of fame, put, “together, a wonderful place to be”. We are getting ready to have family portraits done so….OMgoodness! Excitement!

I would pick out one of the laundry room quotes – you know to jazz it up. It could actually be fun in that room if I had something cute on the walls.

Oh boy, too many choices! I am drawn to the home & family wall stuff because I have a big blank wall in my living room that could really use something. I like the “live simple, speak kindly, love generously” wall art.

31 Anna K. August 20, 2009 at 9:00 am

I’m all a-flutter, y’all! The words, “create” and “imagine” caught my eye as they would look wonderful in my new little art studio room (it may be little but it’s all mine!!). The frame with the interchageable panels was a HUGE draw for me, too. And then there’s the…well, I could go on all day!

42 melissa stover August 20, 2009 at 11:54 pm

43 jana zajicek August 20, 2009 at 11:56 pm

i soooo need a welcome sign, but they are all great–hard to decide!

44 Leanne August 21, 2009 at 1:12 am

I love vinyl. I have to control myself to not cover my whole home in it. I think I would want one of the chalk walls or monogram or both.

45 Jenn August 21, 2009 at 3:42 am

LOVE the “paper” airplanes!! I’ve never heard of that company but now think I might be in love!

46 Dawn @ My Home Sweet Home August 21, 2009 at 9:26 am

I like the really simple swirly “welcome” sign for the entrance hall (oh, wait! that’s the one on your door. I might like it there…). “welcome to the land of make believe” would be perfect for my two youngest girls’ room. Neat site. :-)

47 Dawn @ My Home Sweet Home August 21, 2009 at 9:28 am
48 Dianne August 21, 2009 at 1:07 pm

There are so many wonderful products, it’s incredibly hard to pick one! However. I would choose the “As for me and my house…” Joshua 24:15 expression in the 3′ wide size (with some added $ from me). I have the perfect place for it. We have a lovely antique buffet that is opposite the front door, so it’s one of the first things you see when you walk in. Above it is a big collage frame with family photos in it. I would drop the frame down just a bit, and center this above it. It would be stunning! :-)

I love UCL! I have one of their welcomes on my front door. Turns out I put the decorative vine on upside down but thankfully no one but me realized it – at least that’s what I tell myself. :) I can’t seem to get the pages to turn on the online catalog; however, I would probably get the Tall Oaks saying. I have three young sons and our homeschool is called Acorns to Oaks. :) Thank you kindly!
